Hi my name is Jessie Sousa and I am the owner of Sparkle and Shine Celebrations. Growing up in a big Portuguese family you end up going to a lot of parties and helping get ready for them, maybe that's where my love for party planning came from. When i was younger i used to plan all my parties and i was one of those people who loved to do different out of the box themes. When i got older I went to Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School and my trade program that i picked was Business and Office Technology. I excelled at all the tasks and was the only one in my class to learn and catch on so quickly that i passed all the components of the Microsoft office Suite Certifications. I also taught myself how to use Microsoft Office Access, the hardest program to learn. I go above and beyond for things that i am passionate about. I'm married to my husband and have two kids with him and love when i got to plan my wedding, my daughters first birthday, and their baby showers. Coming up I am currently planning my son's first birthday and my kids baptism party. I think I have such a love for parties because I am definitely a family person and that's what brings people together especially if you live a busy life, that is why i wanted to start Sparkle and shine i want to help people get together with their family and just have a great time.
